fall 'n' smash against black tar
& into disrepute!..
...Donkeys don kiss-me-quick hats &
stagger aimlessly 'round orange glass!..
...Then dragged by the arm
towards bribery
to bagatelle with others!..
In some Arcadia without luxury, finesse or class…
But marinated in iniquity and populated with bandits
with one limb.
Sound clash of screams, electric beeps and boops,
coin-falls like waterfalls, pouring copper into slots,
pushing lit buttons ’til the lights and hope stops!
