This piece is comprised of collaged AI generated 3D models. The prompts were real animals with names that would be confusing for the AI generator to process, but were still common enough that a google search yielded numerous different pictures of said animal. Some of the models are numerous creatures collaged together, while some only had minor alterations made to them, which will be listed below. The 3D models were generated using Genie.Ai Original audio by artist List of prompts and alterations (including typos) & notes Collaged monster (land) prompts Iridescent millipede Star nosed mole Barrel eye fish Blobfish encased in jello Butterfly proboscis monkey Scary squid Tasty dumbo octopus Collaged jellyfish Cardboard box jellyfish Tssty fried egg jellyfish Rolled up pangolin Transparent glass frog Evil Tasmanian devil (stand removed from model) Whimsical pink fairy armadillo Magnificenet frigate bird (typo) Frosted cookie cutter shark Sea bunny (generated rabbit-like creature instead of slug) Frogfish Sea dragon (generated dragon instead of fish) Hammerhead shark (stand removed) Sawfish (appearance is similar to goblin shark which was a prompt used before this one) Flying snake Flying squirrel Ballooning spiders (2 models collaged together) Devil ray Spiral swarm of sparkly butterflies

Shall we only consume what He intended and never indulge in worldly pleasures? Fear Him above all things, for He is always watching. This piece about religious trauma and constant fear of God’s disapproval includes a dining table that holds space for the idea of a God that is judging our every move. As the viewer approaches the installation, they will be presented with a spinning representation of life in sin as an offer to take, while a distorted prayer by the artist’s grandparents becomes audible.
The term "alien" traditionally refers to foreign-born individuals, including immigrants, but has been appropriated by pop culture to describe nonhuman, extraterrestrial beings. This shift further dehumanizes immigrants, equating them with something strange or otherworldly. Using AI, I input the term "alien" and received only pop-cultural depictions of extraterrestrials, revealing how deeply this narrative dominates. This project critiques the erasure of humanity in the term's application to immigrants, exposing how language and media shape perceptions.
