Su trabajo fotográfico surge de experiencias directas con la vida cotidiana, que pueden responder a conceptos como lo transitorio y lo ausente, la memoria, la pérdida y el vacío. Fundadora de ‘Femgrafía’, una plataforma para mujeres fotógrafas de América Latina y España. 'Las flores mueren': “La imagen forma parte de una serie de ejercicios visuales con mi archivo. En mi trabajo, el uso del archivo familiar se ha vuelto un detonante creativo; entendiendo las imágenes y documentos como objetos. En la serie hago énfasis en los retratos de mujeres de mi familia para reflexionar acerca de mi identidad y lo femenino en el entorno familiar.”

Mexican photographer and cultural manager. Her work stems from direct experiences with daily life, which can respond to concepts such as the transitory and the absent, memory, loss and emptiness. She is the founder of 'Femgrafía', a platform for women photographers from Latin America and Spain. 'Las flores mueren' ('Flowers die'): “The image is part of a series of visual exercises with my archive. In my work, the use of the family archive has become a creative trigger through which images and documents become objects. In the series I emphasize the portraits of women in my family to reflect on my identity and the feminine in the family environment.”

También ha sido galardonada con una medalla de oro en el CEF Certamen ASISA Foto (2020). 'Sin Título': “Un día compras naranjas sin saber por qué. No sabes si exprimirlas o partirlas en gajos. De repente te han convertido en una marioneta de hilos invisibles. Te das cuenta de que ni siquiera necesitas enchufar la televisión para sentirla cerca de ti. Firmaste un contrato con un diablillo controlador hace mucho tiempo sin leer la letra pequeña y ahora él decide qué hacer contigo.”

Freelance photographer born in Valga, Pontevedra. Her work has won various competitions, notably the Vigo Photographic Marathon Prize (2022, first prize). She has also been awarded a gold medal in the CEF ASISA Photo Contest (2020). 'Sin Título' ('Untitled'): "One day you buy oranges and you don't know why. You don't know whether to squeeze them or slice them into segments. Suddenly, you've become a puppet with invisible strings. You realize that you don't even need to turn on the television to feel it close to you. You signed a contract with a controlling little devil a long time ago without reading the fine print, and now he decides what to do with you."

Fotógrafa criada en el seno de una familia vinculada a las artes gráficas y la fotografía. Graduada en la Escuela de Arte Superior de Diseño y Fotografía Fernando Estévez de Santa Cruz de Tenerife con especialización en fotografía artística. También trabaja con técnicas fotográficas antiguas como quimigramas, cámara estenopeica y agentes abrasivos en negativos fotográficos. 'Retino-gramas': “En un mundo cada vez menos orgánico, la tecnología arrincona las ensoñaciones y la luz se convierte en paradoja que ilumina y ciega a la vez. La imagen resultante puede no ser susceptible de verse con claridad, solo de percibirse, de intuirse, de ser una imagen más pensable que visible.”

Photographer raised in a family connected to graphic arts and photography. She is a graduate from the Fernando Estévez School of Art, Design and Photography in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, specializing in Fine-art photography. She also works with old photographic techniques such as chemigrams, pinhole cameras, and abrasive agents on photographic negatives. 'Retino-gramas' ('Retino-grams'): "In an increasingly non-organic world, technology takes over daydreaming, and light becomes a paradox that illuminates and blinds at the same time. The resulting image may not be susceptible to clear viewing, only to perception, to intuition, to being an image more thinkable than visible."

Titulada en fotografía y realización audiovisual cuya obra se caracteriza por su gran narratividad y poesía visual. Ha trabajado en festivales de cine como Abycine Lanza, en rodajes profesionales como ‘El Pozo’ de Pablo Garrido, ‘Ember’ de la productora Barakha Lab o ‘AL’ de Carlos Escolástico, entre otros. 'Los Amantes': "Esta obra forma parte de mi visión terapéutica del arte. A través de la fotografía materializo emociones y pensamientos prohibidos que no soy capaz de expresar de otra forma. En este caso narro la historia de dos amantes que se piensan desde la distancia, ambos se desean, pero ninguno es capaz de mostrarlo por su contexto personal."

Andrea Torres is a graduate in photography and audiovisual production. Her work is characterized by its strong narrative and visual poetry. She has worked in film festivals such as Abycine Lanza, on professional shoots such as 'El Pozo' by Pablo Garrido, 'Ember' by Barakha Lab, and 'AL' by Carlos Escolástico, among others. 'Los Amantes' ('The Lovers'): "This image is part of my perception of art as therapy. Through photography, I give form to forbidden emotions and thoughts that I am unable to express any other way. In this case, I tell the story of two lovers who gaze at each other from a distance. Both full of desire for one another but unable to show it due to their personal circumstances."

Su libro "SHIFTERS" ganó el premio PHotoESPAÑA a la mejor publicación internacional de fotografía en 2022. 'Oliver': "Obra perteneciente al proyecto ‘Vive la Resistance!’, que reflexiona sobre la resistencia animal. Existen múltiples formas en las que los animales muestran su resistencia. Esta puede traducirse en fuga, resistencia pasiva, agresión o muerte. ‘Oliver’ se basa en una historia recogida en el libro "El miedo al planeta animal. La historia oculta de la resistencia animal" de Jason Hribal, y reflexiona sobre las increíbles fugas de Oliver del Parque y zoológico Tupelo Buffalo en Mississippi (EE.UU)."

'Oliver': "Image belonging to 'Vive la Resistance!' - a project that reflects on animal resistance. There are multiple ways in which animals show their resistance. This can translate into escape, passive resistance, aggression, or death. 'Oliver' is based on a story from the book "Fear of the Animal Planet: The Hidden History of Animal Resistance" by Jason Hribal, and reflects on Oliver's incredible escapes from the Tupelo Buffalo Park and Zoo in Mississippi, USA."

Fotógrafa brasileña afincada en Madrid especializada en el retrato y sus posibilidades narrativas. En la actualidad se dedica al retrato editorial, la enseñanza y la investigación sobre la Historia del Arte, además de trabajar como artista visual, tanto en España como en su país de origen. 'In Ictu Oculi (Pieza #1)': “Partiendo de la tradición del bodegón y de la vanitas de la Historia del Arte, la serie ‘In Ictu Oculi’ muestra naturalezas casi muertas que juegan con el trampantojo. La serie toma como punto de partida la práctica artística barroca, que resalta la efimeridad de la vida y el deterioro de lo natural ante el paso del tiempo.”

Brazilian photographer based in Madrid who specialises in portraiture and its story-telling possibilities. Her practice combines editorial portraiture, teaching, and research on Art History. She also works as a visual artist in both Spain and her home country. 'In Ictu Oculi (Pieza #1)' ('In Ictu Oculi (Piece #1)'): "Drawing from the tradition of the still life and vanitas in Art History, the series 'In Ictu Oculi' portrays almost lifeless scenes that play with trompe-l'oeil. The series takes as its starting point the Baroque artistic practice, emphasizing the ephemerality of life and the deterioration of the natural world over time."

Ha participado en los Festivales Internacionales de Fotografía We Are Photo (2021) y Latitudes (2022), entre otros. 'Bodegón con limón': "La obra es parte de una serie que se creó para una exposición en el Festival Internacional de Fotografía Latitudes. Siguiendo el hilo conductor de ‘la luz del sur,’ se enmarcan una serie de fotografías de las que esta obra forma parte. Con ellas, se profundiza en la idea de quietud, en el carácter contemplativo propio de este género y en la simbología de lo efímero, como medio para crear historias de lo cotidiano." 

Estrella Caraballo sees images as a means of expression, personal discovery, and a way to evoke memories and sensations. She has taken part in the We Are Photo International Photography Festival (2021) and the Latitudes International Photography Festival (2022), among others. 'Bodegón con limón' ('Still Life with lemon'): "This image is part of a series created for an exhibition at the Latitudes International Photography Festival. Following the theme of 'the light of the South’, it delves into the idea of stillness, the contemplative nature inherent in this genre, and the symbolism of the ephemeral as a means to create stories of the everyday."

Fotógrafa cuya obra gira entorno a los lugares transitados durante su infancia y explora la vida de las mujeres y los lugares que habitan o habitaron. Ha participado en varias exposiciones individuales y colectivas como 'Austral' en Laboral Ciudad de la Cultura (Gijón, 2022). 'En la piel de Luisa': “En esta obra utilizo el autorretrato para hablar de mi abuela Luisa. Este aparente retrato es sobre todo una construcción; un laborioso y minucioso modelado en el que Luisa ha perdido sus límites, su peculiaridad. En cierta forma se ha vaciado de contenido, para conformarse en un arquetipo. Luisa es cualquiera y todas, y también es Laura y, por tanto, Laura es todas.”

Photographer whose work revolves around the places she inhabited during her childhood and explores the lives of women and the places they occupy. She has taken part in several solo and group exhibitions, such as 'Austral' at Laboral Ciudad de la Cultura (Gijón, 2022). 'En la piel de Luisa' ('In Luisa's skin'): "In this image, I use self-portraiture to talk about my grandmother Luisa. This apparent portrait is above all a construction - a laborious, meticulous modelling in which Luisa has lost her boundaries and her uniqueness. In a way, she has been emptied of content to conform to an archetype. Luisa is anyone and everyone, and she is also Laura, and therefore, Laura represents us all."

Creadora visual, ha cursado el Máster Internacional de Fotografía y Gestión de Proyectos en la escuela Efti de Madrid. Utiliza la fotografía como herramienta de comunicación para establecer diálogos abiertos, abordando temas relacionados con sus procesos de género como mujer. 'Transmutación': "Transmutación pertenece al trabajo fotográfico Renascence, un proyecto que rinde homenaje a un referente femenino del mundo de las letras: la poeta Edna St. Vincent Millay, una de las mujeres más influyentes de la poesía del siglo XX. 

La imagen también hace referencia al proceso de transformación que yo como mujer enfrento en mi propia construcción en relación con los estereotipos de género que nos condicionan a la hora de expresarnos artísticamente."

Visual artist, she holds a master's in Photography and Project Management from the Efti school in Madrid. She uses photography as a tool for communication in order to establish open dialogues that address topics related to her gender processes as a woman. 'Transmutación' ('Transmutation'): "This image belongs to ‘Renascence’, a project that pays tribute to a key female figure in the world of literature - the poet Edna St. Vincent Millay, one of the most influential women in 20th-century poetry.

The image also refers to the process of transformation that I, as a woman, face in my own development in relation to the gender stereotypes that condition us when expressing ourselves through the artistic medium."

Formada en fotografía profesional en la escuela Efti de Madrid. Ha recibido varios premios en diferentes concursos de fotografía, como la IV edición del concurso “Con M de Mujer”, y participado en exposiciones colectivas e individuales en diferentes galerías a nivel internacional. 'La carretera': “La narrativa aparece sobre lo que no se ve. Quién o qué está en esta carretera, por qué está ahí o hacia dónde va. La oscuridad, los colores azul verdoso y ocre y la atmósfera que genera la niebla forman parte de un estilo representativo de mi trabajo, que intenta transmitir fuerza y profundidad a la vez que tranquilidad y nostalgia.”

Natalia de la Rubia studied professional photography at the Efti school in Madrid. She has received several awards in different photography competitions, such as the 4th edition of 'Con M de Mujer', and has taken part in collective and solo exhibitions in various international galleries. 'La carretera' ('The Road'): "The narrative emerges from what is unseen. Who or what is on this road, why are they there, or where are they heading? Darkness, greenish-blue and ochre colours, and the atmosphere generated by fog are part of a representative style in my work, which seeks to convey strength and depth while also evoking tranquillity and nostalgia."

Fotógrafa española con base en Madrid. Combina sus proyectos personales con trabajo comercial en moda y retrato. Ha colaborado con El País Semanal, Carolina Herrera, Elle, y Marie Claire, entre otros. Ha mostrado su trabajo en varias exposiciones colectivas y en tres individuales. 'Casita de fuego': “Desde  pequeña me ha interesado mucho más tener la cabeza en las nubes que los pies en la tierra. 'Casita de fuego’ pertenece a esta serie de juegos visuales que hablan de los fantasmas y fantasías que se cruzan en nuestros pensamientos, del ensimismamiento y de los momentos de musarañas en los que estamos sin estar.”

Spanish photographer based in Madrid. She combines her personal projects with commercial work in fashion and portraiture. She has shot for El País Semanal, Carolina Herrera, Elle and Marie Claire, among others. She has showcased her work in several group shows and three solo exhibitions. 'Casita de fuego' ('Little house on fire'): "Since I was little, I have been much more interested in having my head in the clouds than my feet on the ground. 'Casita de fuego' belongs to a series of visual games that speak of the ghosts and fantasies that cross our thoughts, of introspection, and of those moments of daydreaming when we are present but not fully there."

Fotógrafa y artista visual. Su obra reflexiona sobre el capitalismo y la inmensidad del mundo frente al ser humano, y a la vez sobre lo inmenso que se presenta el ser humano ante el mundo. 'Copia': “Esta obra aborda el tema del consumismo compulsivo y seductor que caracteriza a la sociedad contemporánea, desde un punto de vista irónico. El díptico está compuesto por un bodegón monocromático y su correspondiente ticket del supermercado. 'Copia' reflexiona sobre el capitalismo y sus formas e invita al espectador a pensar sobre su propio modo de consumir, tanto en lo material como en lo emocional.”

'Copia' ('Copy'): “This work addresses the issue of the compulsive and seductive consumerism that characterizes contemporary society with an ironic twist. The diptych is made up of a monochrome still life and its corresponding supermarket receipt. 'Copia' reflects on capitalism and its forms and invites the viewer to think about their own way of consuming, both from a material and emotional point of view.”

Especializada en fotografía y cine por la Santa Fe University of Art and Design. 'Tu otro yo': “Idealizas un ser al que no sabes si perteneces. Anhelas un futuro por llegar o un pasado que nunca tuvo lugar. Mientras tanto sigues aquí. Lanzándote al mundo y a la vida porque lo empírico es, al menos, sensible a la piel. La velocidad, el viento, el calor, el ruido del motor. Un movimiento cinético y sin descanso en el ciclo eterno de llegar a ser quien quieres ser sin darte de cuenta de que en el camino ya estás ahí.”

Visual artist focusing on issues related to the search for identity, longing and the conflict between desire and reality. She specialized in photography and film at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design. 'Tu otro yo' ('Your other self'): “You idealize a being to whom you might not belong. You long for the future to come or for a past that never was. In the meantime, you're still here - throwing yourself into the world and into life because the empirical is at least sensitive to the skin. Speed, the wind, heat, the noise of the engine. A restless, kinetic movement in the eternal cycle of becoming who you want to be, not realizing that you are already there along the way.”

Ha participado en diversos proyectos vinculados a la producción, la dirección de arte y la curaduría. 'Niebla helada, el cielo brilla.': “Me adentro en el paisaje por la fronda más umbría y elaboro un mundo ficticio, onírico y atemporal con personajes que lo exploran y lo transitan como si estuviesen descubriéndolo por primera vez. Como en un sueño, y a una distancia apenas visible, siento mi propia presencia en un silencio que no puede romperse.”

Photographer based in Buenos Aires who works in different disciplines such as poetry, analogue photography, video art and cinema. She has taken part in various projects related to production, art direction and curatorship. 'Niebla helada, el cielo brilla.' ('Frozen fog, shiny sky.'): “I enter the landscape through the shadiest foliage and create a fictional, dreamlike and timeless world. People explore it and travel through it as if they were discovering it for the first time. As in a dream, and at a barely visible distance, I feel my own presence in a silence that cannot be broken."

Diplomada en Cinematografía y Artes Audiovisuales. Su pasión por el séptimo arte la acompaña en todas sus obras: collages  y fotografías creadas en distintos soportes y materiales encontrados. Fundadora del colectivo 'Mujeres que cortan y pegan', actualmente dirige su propio espacio de arte en Madrid: The Stendhal Room. 'Faro mío': “Negativo encontrado, fotografiado e intervenido. A partir de material encontrado (no buscado) trato de reconciliarme con mi pasado y con mi relación familiar creando un diálogo entre la imagen y la palabra no dicha que ahora, de repente, tiene voz y presencia en mi vida.”

Annita Klimt studied Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts. Her passion for cinema is evident in her work. She creates collage and images with found materials using a variety of media. She is the founder of the collective 'Mujeres que cortan y pegan' and currently manages her own art space in Madrid: The Stendhal Room. 'Faro mío' ('Lighthouse of mine'): “Negative found, photographed and intervened. Using found (not searched for) materials, I aim to reconcile myself with my past and heal the relationship with my family by creating a dialogue between the image and the unspoken word that now, suddenly, has a voice and presence in my life.”

Artista visual y fotógrafa. Su trabajo artístico se centra en sugerentes propuestas fotográficas de autor y piezas multimedia, así como en proyectos artísticos experimentales en torno al fotolibro. 'Éphémère': "La ruina y el fragmento son signos de lo efímero y de lo perecedero y se convierten en imágenes con la capacidad de remitirnos a nociones como la temporalidad, la mutabilidad o lo transitorio. Mi obra se convierte en una metáfora de estos fragmentos, tanto de manera formal como simbólica. ‘Éphémère’ supone una rebelión contra la estandarización y la homogeneización que reduce el cuerpo a un único punto de vista."

'Éphémère': "Ruin and fragments are signs of the ephemeral and perishable, and become images with the ability to represent notions such as temporality, mutability, or transience. My work becomes a metaphor for these fragments, both formally and symbolically. 'Éphémère' represents a rebellion against the standardization and homogenization that reduce the body to a single point of view."

Su mirada se ha activado en esta interconexión de disciplinas y culturas y el arte se ha convertido en su herramienta para hablar del potencial del ser humano, utilizando la naturaleza y el cuerpo como temas principales. 'Hacia el encuentro': “Cuerpos que se desdibujan y se encuentran en la moción. Lo visible y tangible tiene una realidad subyacente y profunda. El cuerpo humano como paisaje lleno de contenido oculto listo para florecer y ser desplegado en cada acción.”

Colombian multidisciplinary photographer of Lebanese descent. The interconnection of disciplines and cultures has awakened her gaze, prompting her to explore human potential. In her work, she uses nature and the body as the main subjects. 'Hacia el encuentro' ('Towards the encounter'): "Bodies that blur and find each other through motion. The visible and tangible hold an underlying and profound reality. The human body as a landscape full of hidden content, ready to bloom and unfold in every action."

Fotógrafa nacida en Arabia Saudí. A caballo entre Oriente Medio, África y Europa la mayor parte de su vida, por lo que se considera ‘niña de tercera cultura’. Desde pequeña siente la necesidad de plasmar sus recuerdos en imágenes para llevarlas consigo al siguiente destino. 'Dog’s point of view': “Toda mi obra se engloba en una temática: desarraigo e identidad. La mayor parte de mis fotografías son de mis viajes, como si intentara congelar cada instante para ir tejiendo las raíces que no tengo. Es una búsqueda constante de pertenecer a algún lugar.”

Photographer born in Saudi Arabia. Splitting her life between the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, she considers herself a 'third-culture kid.' From a young age, she feels the need to capture her memories through images to take them with her to the next destination. 'Dog's point of view': "The overarching theme of my work is uprootedness and identity. Most of my photographs are from my travels. It's as if I were trying to freeze each moment to weave my own roots - a constant search to belong somewhere."

Forja sus estudios en IDEP en Barcelona y posteriormente los combina con un máster de Gestión y Crítica de Arte Contemporáneo, enfocándose en el mercado de la fotografía artística contemporánea. 'An inconvenient reality': “Entre los árboles que se quemaron en este incendio hay ramas insertadas que se pierden entre las auténticas ramas y el suelo erosionado por el calor y la sequía. Simbolizan esa línea delgada entre la realidad y la ficción que nos cuenta nuestro gobierno constantemente. El lila (feminicidios y mujeres desaparecidas) y el rosa (la lucha contra el cáncer de mama) son los colores que visten las calles en las protestas mexicanas.”

Photographer born in Berlin. She has studied at IDEP Barcelona and holds a master's in Management and Criticism in Contemporary Art with a strong focus on photography. 'An inconvenient reality': "Some branches have been inserted among the trees that burnt down in this fire. They get lost among the real branches and the ground that has been eroded by heat and drought. They symbolize that thin line between reality and what our government constantly tells us. Lilac represents feminicides and missing women, and pink represents the fight against breast cancer. These are the colours in the streets during Mexican protests."

Maestra en Artes Visuales por la Facultad de Artes y Diseño de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Su trabajo se ha expuesto en México, Argentina, Perú, Italia, Alemania, Portugal, España, Japón y Australia. 'Sin Título': "Se ha elaborado el paisaje, el espacio ha sido intervenido por diversas construcciones políticas, geográficas, sociales e incluso por mi imaginario. Sin embargo, la naturaleza es capaz de asimilar los espacios, entre los materiales construidos y el ecosistema primordial se crean diversas capas de elementos y tiempo, la naturaleza deviene, intenta regresar y reapropiarse del lugar a partir de estos diversos mantos que se han creado.”

Elizabeth Casasola holds a master's in Visual Arts from the Faculty of Arts and Design at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Her work has been shown in Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Japan, and Australia. 'Sin Título' ('Untitled'): "I have crafted the landscape - the space has been intervened by various political, geographical and social constructions, as well as my own imagery. However, nature is capable of assimilating spaces; between the constructed materials and the primordial ecosystem, multiple layers of elements and time are built. Nature evolves, attempting to return and reclaim the place through these diverse layers that have been created."
