Statement:
Our joyful antagonist Peanut-Head is in a continual cycle of death and rebirth. Peanut-Head’s ultimate goal is to reach salvation and return to bonbon heaven but is seemingly condemned to purgatory-states.
Peanut-Head debuted in the film PEANUT HEAD ENTERS. In this, we follow this vagabond who roams virtual worlds before disaster strikes and is reborn into the material world. Despite the weight of this materiality, Peanut-Head continues the quest for salvation, in the form of the ultimate amateur activity, boogie-boarding. Unfortunately Peanut-Head was pummelled to death by the waves. The film itself is hosted on Peanut-Head’s boogie board, which itself travels across space and time.
Since then Peanut-Head has been roaming the world of The Habdab, a messy haberdashery overrun by scopophiliac hamsters. Here we encounter a version of this world in the future, cast to ruins by sands of time (and actual sand!) We catch Peanut-Head in a state of contemplative thought before boarding the boogie board once again.
