Statement:
"Transitory Flux" embodies the core principles that blend physical and digital elements to explore themes of identity, experimentation, and transformation. It aims to create an immersive installation that manifests the essence of contemporary New Media Art through the use of found sculptures and digital elements. Reflecting on themes of identity and pushing the boundaries of traditional art forms, the installation incorporates found objects to display digital work, capturing the innovative spirit of New Media as described by first-year students: image editing, simulations, experimental approaches, and new materials.
3D Environment Description:
When launching the space, viewers are confronted with "New Media Buoy's" that confine the individual within. Additionally, large-scale videos of crashing waves confine the space further. The space is filled with water and yellow fog. When looking forward, there are stacked videos that all play "Reflections". At the left and right eye-glance, above the buoys, are circular screenshots from this video.
