The New Media Art BFA program at the University of North Texas presents Echoes of Existence, a hybrid capstone exhibition showcasing the work of 15 graduating seniors from October 29 to November 1, 2024.
Visitors can engage in three ways: by viewing the artwork in person at the College of Visual Art and Design in Denton, TX; accessing the online exhibition via New Art City; or experiencing a nighttime fly through projection projection outside on Fry St. in Denton, TX .
Featured artworks include hyper-realistic 3D landscapes, explorations of selfie culture, and critiques of consumerism, addressing the intersections of surveillance, AI, mental health, and privacy in our digital age. This collaboration with New Art City exemplifies the program's commitment to community engagement and transdisciplinary artistic practices.
