Output Field presents Skin Garden, a collection of 3-dimensional musings in flesh presented in three rooms: Walk-ins Welcome, Bodies Unhinge, and Reconsider Flesh.
This exhibition is about bodies: changing bodies, moving bodies, bodies from a distance, any body, our bodies, no body, Queer bodies, post-traumatic bodies...¹ Skin Garden is a collection of artworks discussing bodies: through movement, space, sound, self, and fellow bodies. Skin Garden is body language.
The three rooms inside present audiovisual reflections on our physical vessels, as they relate to trauma, language, queerness, tradition, and multiplicity.
This is a fundraiser. For its debut showcase, Output Field is raising $5,000 for the transdisciplinary body of artists featured in Skin Garden. To support them and future output, please donate.

3D Environment Description:
A dimly lit space with a central structure, holding up three sculptures, each representing the three rooms of this exhibition. The central sculpture is a muted lavender, with three lily-pad shapes connected by a branched structure.
Dark shadows and blue-ish highlights illuminate the skin texture wrapping every shape in the space: which evoke organic form language: tubes, pedals, sponge-like bridges.

Output Field is a new 501(c)3 non-profit calling for the redistribution of clout. Our mission is to breach the canon by linking across disciplines and time zones. This is our first exhibition. We’re fundraising 5,000$ for the interdisciplinary body of artists featured in the show. Additional proceeds go towards nourishing experimental arts & amplifying underrepresented artists.

Walk-ins Welcome
🔓OPEN FOR VIEWING Walk-ins Welcome is a digital tattoo showroom. Advances in image-rendering have become interwoven into the process of tattooing, and archived onto skin. More and more, this analog art form has seen a shift towards the digital and the experimental. Walk-ins Welcome is a showcase of tattooers who have embraced this shift in their practice.
Reconsider Flesh
🔓OPEN FOR VIEWING Reconsider Flesh is a breathing sculpture garden nestled inside walls sculpted by Salomé Chatriot. Sourcing the multiplicity of flesh, this body of work carves out a space for just some of the bodies excluded when multitudes are reduced to a monolithic standard. These 3-dimensional musings are presented with Bella Baguena's distorted readings.
Bodies Unhinge
🔓OPEN FOR VIEWING Bodies Unhinge is an articulation of queer affect, through breath, movement, and voice. IOR50 and Betty Apple explore the ways unruly aesthetic experiences disrupt the borders of flesh and shake loose the psychic debris left by trauma. Here, the queer dynamics of raving offer the club as a site to sound out the affective afterlife of psychic injury.
