Well hello, My name is Taylan Ward and I am a fourth year student that currently attends San Jose State University. I am also in their program of BFA for Digital Media Arts. This project that I will be illustrating in the Art Exhibition is named “Anime that Comes to Life”. The area of fied that I will be choosing to do my work is in 3D Conception/ Modeling. I will be constructing a 3D generated nature scenic area. This area will consist of an amazing view of a floating island that is being swallowed up by pink clouds way high up in the sky. There will be mountains with waterfalls running down them and through the island’s core to the beneath of the floating island. There will be trees and different sorts of bushes rustling through the wind, a lake, a field of grass, birds and anime characters that will be illustrated. I will be using particular anime characters from the anime Dragon Ball Z. It will be an interesting fight scene that will be taking place in the scenic area. Two of the characters will be floating while the rest or stand by watching them battle. The purpose of this project is to illustrate how something that is so ugly like fighting can be so settled in a beautiful place like nature. Trying to compare and contrast between the ugliness in fighting and the beauty in nature. The ideas and themes that this work goes in depth with is which is more appealing: beauty of ugly or what do you see more the beauty or the ugly? This also goes in depth with a reincarnation of a fighting scene that took place in the anime but, in a different location. I believe that this artwork symbolizes beauty, peace,violence and ugly through the different components that this artwork overlays. Influences that made me think of creating this certain project are Max Novak and Akira Toriyama.

It is a 3D scene of a fight that takes place in a crazy real world environment. The fight scene is consisted with anime characters that are in Dragon Ball Z. The two main characters are Goku and Broly
