UGLYKIKI

總是至少有兩個版本的我們存在著：
一個我墊著腳尖，飄進夢裡，另一個我蜷縮著腿，躺在床上。
一個我伸長脖子，醉入網路裡，另一個一個我倚著下巴，坐在電腦前面。
我滑著手機入睡，從IM通知聲醒來，在大腦﹑電腦、伺服器﹑雲端之間，我日復一日不斷遊走著，仍然以為我是分裂的，是單一的存在。Archive自拍和微笑，更替了許多次頭像。是假的，是片段的，是東拼西湊的。
直到某天從解離的像素中醒來，你告訴我：「我看見了，我們的化身。」
你有身體嗎？「跟VR中的Avatar一樣，只見雙手不見下身。」
於是網路的虛擬與夢中的虛擬疊合成記憶的真實，我們的身體奮力得織一張網，
將注意力四處飄散的我們再次黏合在一起。
The network 反芻日常中看似無用卻又演化為夢境，佔用大腦記憶體的經驗及資訊。在我們的注意力被網路上的社交、娛樂等行為消耗的時候，迷因圖片、遊戲角色的招式、反覆再看的影視角色劇情，都悄悄的被允許暫存，成為編織成一張張夢境之網的節點。隨著醒後的低語訴說，我們才稍稍了解無意識的自己一點。

The addiction to digital lifestyles and the fear of missing out on the latest trends stimulate repeated and meaningless plots. Inspired by Netflix series, characters from video games, and behaviors of cyberspace. we dream bout the digital products every day.
In 網 Network, I reflect on the useless information, text, images, memes which are haunting in our memory and cause countless dreams questioning our awareness.
One day, again, in a lucid dream, I was asked by an omniscient existence “What is the purpose of lucid dream?”
Shocked by the voice from nowhere, I carefully answered, “It can train our brains....” Suddenly, pixels burst. Gound, buildings, people, everything is dissolved into code.
By questioning reality and self-consciousness while sleeping and waking, I have weaved a complicated network using the experiences from digital life, virtual space, and the authentic rection IRL. 網 Network is the conversation between two versions of virtual identity: one is in dreams, the other is online.
